FC Bayern Munich – pictures of current and old FC Bayern shirts

The current Bayern Munich jersey is primarily known for its red color. Historically, red and white in particular have been the dominant colors of the home jerseys, but several times FC Bayern shirts have had designs that was different from the regular red and white. The club was founded in 1900 and for the first five years the jerseys were white and the shorts were black. In 1905, FC Bayern Munich changed their shorts to red. Since then, Bayern Munich’s home kits have, as mentioned, been primarily dominated by red and white. However, there have been periods where blue has overshadowed these in FC Bayern’s home jerseys – most recently in the period 1997 to 1999 when Adidas delivered a completely navy blue FC Bayern home shirt.

The anniversary set was used in a single match, namely when Bayern Munich won 2-0 over FC Augsburg in the Bundesliga on March 8, 2020 at the Allianz Arena.
